Very nice nose of Cherries jam, cèpes, licorice, herbes de provence and meat… in the month, ripe cherries almost sweet, very good acidity and silky tannins (90 pts.) – Tasted 6/27/2010.

Nose: Subtle herbs and red fruits (raspberry) and gravel minerality. Palate: Spice and red fruits up front with good balancing acidity and a rather short but very clean finish. Nice wine. (91 pts.) – Tasted 6/25/2010.

Wow. For a Trader Joe’s wine, this is FANTASTIC. I know the residual sugar will make almost any wine taste good… but this is even complex. Notes of peach, honeysuckle and apricot. Definitely sweet… but there is a hint of acidity that keeps it from becoming syrupy. For $9, I’m definitely going to get more. Very Good – Tasted 6/24/2010.

Nice dry riesling. Lots of citrus and flint on the nose. Light golden color. Strong acidity. Lime and citrus overtones strong upfront and through the middle transitioning to minerality on the backend. Quite enjoyable. Will have to get some more while it’s on sale. (89 pts.) – Tasted 6/23/2010.

Quite simply the closest to perfection that I have ever experienced. I would happily rate this as 100 but want to believe that there will be a time in my life when I taste something better but I doubt it. (96 pts.) – Tasted 6/22/2010.
