This had a good earthy nose with animal nuances. On the palate there was similar traits along with dark fruits and a nice mouthfeel. The tannins took a while to find some balance but I felt it was excellent with food. While it was a good solid effort I never got the wow factor from this one. – Tasted 8/1/2007.
