Cherry, Wildberry, Strawberry and other concentrated red fruit dominated this wine. Structure was there, but style was very hedonistic. Really knocked me out, and showed very very well. – City Hall – Tasted 2/16/2007.

An average Swiss Merlot: Dark, aromatic and potent. Fair for a local cheese course. Un merlot suizo corriente: Obscuro, aromático y potente. Suficiente pata una ronda de quesos. – Tasted 2/13/2007.

This is lovely. Based on the 2002 vintage, but fortified with wines from earlier years. Everything about it yells quality – great nose, wonderful fresh fruit on the palate, reasonable complexity and great length. This makes a terrific aperitif champagne but it also has the power and weight to go well with food. Get stuck in!! (90 pts.) – Tasted 2/4/2007.

Super-duper concentrated. Crazy nose: coffee, butterscotch, some coconut, butter, vanilla, melon, tropical fruit. Benefits considerably from decanting. Very full-bodied. Elegant in its own way (like a linebacker in a tailored suit). It’s very difficult not to love this, even if BIG California Chardonnay is not your thing. This is just exceptionally well-made wine.
