This had a dilute, cloudy colour which fades from light, strawberry red to absolute watery transparency at the rim. The wine starts to fill out after 45 minutes. There is lovely soft fruit and lots of tannins though they are so supple they are hardly noticeable until your mouth starts to dry out. It also finishes with a pleasingly tart mineral edge. There is refreshing acidity though overall it still lacks body for my liking. All the same, this is a seductive and feminine bottle of wine. – Tasted 1/8/2007.

From cask: Medium blood red. Rich spicy meaty nose : very attractive. Great mouth entry – good fruit, but also an edge of freshness over it. Mid-palate is rich and well balanced. A touch grippy on the finish. 3 – Tasted 1/1/2007.
