1999 d’Arenberg Shiraz The Dead Arm

This wine has ruby-red color with just a hint of brick, a bit on the sediment side of clear, but intense. Mint and chocolate, with leather and blackberry on the nose. Quite a noseful. Full-bodied with amazingly lots of acidity left in the fruit. This wine will age a bit longer without a problem (93 pts.) – Tasted 6/2/2006.
