1986 Château Calon-Ségur

This note is from a hazy memory, but this was one of the bottles that helped turn us on in a big way to fine wine. Drunk sometime around 2004, at Central Kitchen in Cambridge. I remember being extremely impressed with the sharp green spicy pepper note midpalate that was elegantly tucked into all that dark red deliciousness. Remains one of my/our favorite all time bottles, wish I remembered it better. – Tasted 1/1/2004.
